Edit Military Service Record

EDIT MILITARY SERVICE

In the Service Details record you are able to add and edit information regarding the veterans military service for each period of service.
You may add as many records as needed.
A new record for each period of service the veteran was in needs to be established.
You may edit any record that was previously created.
To edit a military service record, click on the Military tab at the top of the screen.
Next, click "edit this record". Edit the record as you choose.
Click "update" at the bottom of the page to save changes.
The items listed in the Service Details are:
- service number
- branch of service
- date entered
- place entered
- date discharged
- place discharged
- DD-214 in the file
- active duty now
- conflict
- other conflict
- character of service
- retired status
- separation pay amount
- disability severance pay amount
