How to Track Records Requests
- Records requests can be tracked in the Records tab.
- Select the veteran you wish to track the request for.
- Click on the Records tab at the top of the screen.
- Enter the type of record requested. I.E. SMR's, VAMC records, personnel record, medals request, claims folder....
- Add the date the records were requested and the location requested from. I.E. National Personnel Records Center (NPRC), Records Management Center (RMC), VA Regional Office (VARO)...
- Additional notes on a records request can be added.
- Along with the date the records were received.
- When the records are received be sure to mark the date received so the record's request no longer shows up when you run a report for records you waiting for.
