General Information on How Records Work in VetraSpec
- VetraSpec utilizes a records system to operate stored data.
- Individual items are tracked based on individual records. I.E. each military service period is a separate record, each dependent is a separate record, each individual claim is a separate record within the veterans record.
- The primary reason this is done is to better track the claims process.
- So to track a veteran who has 3 periods of service:
- You would enter in the information for the first period of service and all related information that deals with that period of service. Save the information.
- Next, you would click "Add a New Record". Add the information for the second period of service and save.
- Finally, you would click the "Add a New Record" button again and add the third period of service.
- You would enter in the information for the first period of service and all related information that deals with that period of service. Save the information.
- This is similar for all screens in VetraSpec.
